Shipping policy
Shipping Policy Effective date: 20 September 2026
This Shipping Policy explains how SAAVVY processes, fulfils and delivers orders. Some products are dispatched by international suppliers or fulfilment partners rather than from a SAAVVY-operated warehouse.
1. Order processing and stock status
Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation and stock verification.
The product page should state whether an item is in stock, on preorder or otherwise subject to an extended processing period. Processing times may vary by product and fulfilment partner.
For in-stock EPROLO products, dispatch typically takes place within one business day. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed dispatch time.
OriginDrop processing times vary by product and are confirmed through the applicable product and shipping option.
2. Fulfilment locations
Internationally fulfilled products may be dispatched from different countries or fulfilment centres.
EPROLO dispatch locations vary by product and available shipping method.
OriginDrop products are sourced, packed and dispatched from Korea.
The applicable product page may contain more specific fulfilment information.
3. Estimated delivery times
Allow approximately 7–21 days for all supplier-fulfilled deliveries. Delivery times may vary by product, fulfilment partner, route and shipping method.
EPROLO products: Allow approximately 7–21 days for delivery.
OriginDrop products: Allow approximately 7–21 days for delivery.
These are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates. Delivery may be affected by customs processing, courier delays, public holidays, weather, logistical disruption, inaccurate delivery information or other circumstances outside SAAVVY’s reasonable control.
The estimated delivery timeframe for all supplier-fulfilled products is 7–21 days.
4. Shipping cost
For applicable internationally fulfilled products, standard shipping is included in the displayed selling price.
“Shipping included” refers to the cost of transporting the applicable product under its standard shipping method. It does not automatically mean that import VAT, customs duty, courier disbursement fees or clearance charges are included.
Any optional express or upgraded delivery service and its price will be displayed before the customer completes the order, where available.
5. Customs, import VAT and clearance charges
Unless the exact product and South African shipping method is expressly confirmed as DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), international orders should be treated as DAP (Delivered at Place).
Under DAP, the customer may be required to pay import VAT, customs duty, courier disbursement fees or customs-clearance charges before delivery.
South African import VAT is generally assessed at 15%. The final customs value, tariff classification, duty rate and related charges are determined by the relevant authorities and delivery provider. SAAVVY does not control these assessments and cannot guarantee the final amount in advance.
SAAVVY will only state that import taxes and duties are included when DDP has been verified for the exact product, South African destination and shipping method. A general statement that DDP is available does not confirm that it applies to every order.
6. Tracking
Tracking information will be sent to the email address or mobile number supplied with the order once it becomes available to SAAVVY.
Tracking may take time to show its first update after dispatch. The frequency and detail of tracking updates depend on the carrier and shipping method.
7. Delivery address
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, postal code, telephone number and any other information reasonably required for delivery or customs clearance.
Where inaccurate or incomplete information causes a failed delivery, re-delivery or additional cost, the customer may be responsible for that cost to the extent permitted by law.
8. Customs information and customer cooperation
Customers may be asked by a courier or customs authority to provide identification, proof of payment or other information required to clear an international parcel.
Failure to provide required information may delay delivery or result in the parcel being returned, subject to the carrier’s procedures and applicable law.
9. Delayed, lost or damaged orders
If an order appears significantly delayed, lost or damaged, contact SAAVVY at accounts@saavvy.store with:
Your name and order number
The delivery address
Available tracking information
Photographs of visible damage and packaging, where relevant
SAAVVY will investigate with the relevant supplier, fulfilment partner or courier and provide assistance in accordance with applicable South African law.
10. Customer rights
Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts or waives a customer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or other applicable South African legislation.
